We will be planting purple flowers and hosting a candlelight vigil in memory of those who have lost their lives to overdose. There will also be an outdoor Narcan training by Councilman Anthony D'Esposito in the effort to one day #EndOverdose. We also want to acknowledge the wonderful local organizations and businesses who helped spread awareness for Overdose Awareness Day, including: Club Pilates Oceanside, Cino's Bagels, Oceanside Library, 360 Painting Lynbrook, Oceanside High School and Mount Sinai SNCH.
