In the days after the devastation of Hurricane Sandy, our community rallied for one another and felt more connected than ever before. We hope you will join us as we rally together once more to recreate that sense of civic pride as we tend to our community and help do our part to keep it a clean, beautiful and SAFE place.
We will be forming teams to clean Luis G. Alvarez Park, and the perimeter of School 2. We will also be planting a tree to commemorate the 10 Year Anniversary of Hurricane Sandy, and the lasting effect it has had on our community.

WOW!!!! What an unbelievable morning at Luis G. Alvarez Park with our amazing volunteers who came out to celebrate “Coastal Cleanup Day”!! Thanks to their incredible efforts we were able to clean, beautify and scan for substance related paraphernalia. Areas included the park itself, Cold Cut City Parking Lot, Terrell Ave, and the grounds of School 2. Special thanks to Oceanside Kiwanis , Oceanside Chamber of Commerce, Plant Daddy’s, Our Team at Oceanside SAFE , Local Parents and Youth for donating their time and efforts. Thank you to Dr. Dan Rinaldi for his powerful speech, Long Island Bagel Cafe for feeding all our volunteers and Dee's Nursery for their amazing donation of flowers and trees that were planted.
Above all, thank you to the amazing team of Oceanside Warriors - Your selfless dedication to the Oceanside Community goes above and beyond. We are forever in debt to what you give to us all week after week and there are simply no words to express how grateful we are for you working so hard to keep Oceanside a beautiful, safe place. Amazing job to all!!
